The Pillars of Faith

Related by Abdullāh Ibn Omar Bin Al Khattāb رضي الله عنه, “He (the inquirer) said: Inform me about ēman” (faith). He (the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم) replied:

“That you affirm your faith in Allāh, in His Angels, in His Books, in His Messengers, in the Day of Judgement, and you affirm your faith in the Divine Decree about good and evil”. He (the inquirer) said: “You have told the truth”.

Book 2:

The Pillars of Islām

Narrated Ibn Umar, Allāh's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said “Islām is based on (the following) five (principles): To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allāh and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allāh's. To offer the salāh (prayers) dutifully and perfectly. To pay zakāt (obligatory charity). To perform Hajj (Pilgrimage to Makkah if one is able). To observe fasts during the month of Ramadhān.”

Book 3: The Life of Muhammadﷺ,

the Messenger of Allāh

لَقَد كانَ لَكُم في رَسولِ اللَّهِ أُسوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِمَن كانَ يَرجُو اللَّهَ وَاليَومَ الآخِرَ وَذَكَرَ اللَّهَ كَثيرًا

There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allāh an excellent pattern [example] for anyone whose hope is in Allāh and the last day, and (who) remembers Allāh often

Translated meaning of the Noble Qur’ān, Sūrah al Ahzāb, 33:21
